Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 19 ARRIS Toyota Camry in the NASCAR XFINITY Series™, made history in Saturday’s Menards 250 Presented by Valvoline at Michigan International Speedway. After leading four laps, including the final two, Suárez captured his first series win to become the first Mexican-born driver to win a race in NASCAR®’s three national series. He is also only the fifth Latino driver to win a NASCAR® national series race. Suárez is currently atop the standings in the NASCAR XFINITY Series™ – the first foreign-born driver to lead the points in any NASCAR® national series.
